Do you ever feel envious of artists?
They seem to have that “touch”, you know?
That ability to turn nothing into something cool.
There is an old acquaintance of mine who is very good at drawing. I never got past kindergarten level. I envied him so much because he was so talented and he could just make all the drawings he wanted. I thought I couldn’t do the same, as I didn’t have that “touch”: talent. The truth is different: I realized I couldn’t do it because what was lacking in me wasn’t talent, but effort to learn the skill required to make art as good as his.
Therefore I changed that. I’m neither a painter nor do I draw, but I love music. In summer 2023, I asked my father to buy me a MIDI controller: I wanted to learn to produce music.
I would often think about how cool it would be if there were songs made by me, ACTUALLY me. So what if it was actually possible? What if I could JUST DO IT? I could already play the piano, and I knew some basics of music theory, and at that point I also had the instruments to actually do it.
And I learned. I worked hard. There are countless projects that are absolute TRASH that you will never listen to or ever hear about, and out of all of them ONLY ONE actually shined with a glimpse of beauty. That turned out to become my first release, Days. Now in 2026 it feels crazy to think back and to see how far I’ve grown as an artist. Currently more music is in the works and I can’t wait to share it with the world.
